Risk Management and Internal Audit Manager

iMultiply Resourcing Ltd is seeking a seasoned professional to lead its Internal Audit and Risk Advisory team.

The Role
- Deliver risk management, corporate governance, and internal audit assignments to clients.
- Develop an audit strategy and risk assessment that enables profit and delivers a value proposition.
- Identify and manage risks on client engagements.
- Lead work, drive quality, and make a difference through differential recommendations.
- Be a people leader, helping the team develop their careers.
- Take responsibility for commercial elements of client management.
- Attend Audit Committee meetings as appropriate.
- Prioritize work to devote resources to areas of highest risk in line with the audit needs assessment.
- Manage stream activities and client relationships on a day-to-day basis, ensuring excellent client service.
- Manage individuals to ensure work is completed on time and to the highest quality.
- Exhibit creativity and innovation in recommending improvements to audit practices, processes, and client service.
- Research competitor offerings and stay up-to-date with the latest thinking in areas of expertise.
- Identify opportunities and act as an ambassador for the firm, participating in marketing events and keeping abreast of the firm's services.
- Help build and manage the team.
The Person
- Have an inquisitive mind, willing to challenge and innovate daily.
- Be ACA, ACCA, MIIA, or CCAB qualified, with relevant experience in risk management, internal audit, and systems/controls testing.
- Have previous experience managing people.
- Have commercial sector experience.
- Aware of compliance, legislative, and market issues relevant to client businesses.
Desirable:
- SOx experience (US/UK/Other)
- IT assurance experience
- Third-party attestation services experience (e.g., ISAE3402)
- Project management experience
- Full driving license and own car preferred, with flexibility to travel locally and potentially wider if required.
