Internal Audit/Risk Advisory Director

iMultiply Resourcing Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join its Internal Audit/Risk Advisory team as a Manager.

The Role
- Deliver risk management, corporate governance, and internal audit assignments to clients across various industries.
- Develop an audit strategy and risk assessment that enables profit and delivers a value proposition to clients.
- Identify and manage risks on client engagements, ensuring that clients receive high-quality services.
- Lead work, drive quality, and make a difference through differential recommendations.
- Be a people leader, helping the team develop their careers and achieve their goals.
- Take responsibility for commercial elements of client management, including prioritizing work and managing resources.
- Attend Audit Committee meetings as required.
- Prioritize work to focus on areas of highest risk, in line with the audit needs assessment.
- Manage stream activities and client relationships on a day-to-day basis, ensuring excellent client service.
- Manage individuals to ensure that work is completed on time and to the highest quality.
- Exhibit creativity and innovation in recommending improvements to audit practices, processes, and client service.
- Research competitor offerings and stay up-to-date with the latest thinking in areas of expertise.
- Identify opportunities and act as an ambassador for the company, participating in marketing events and keeping abreast of the company's services.
- Help build and manage the team, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
The Person
- Have an inquisitive mind, willing to challenge and innovate every day.
- Be ACA, ACCA, MIIA, or CCAB qualified, with relevant experience in risk management, internal audit, and systems/controls testing.
- Have previous experience managing people and leading teams.
- Have commercial sector experience and awareness of compliance, legislative, and market issues relevant to client businesses.
Desirable:
- Have SOx experience (US/UK/Other).
- Have IT assurance experience.
- Have third-party attestation services experience (e.g., ISAE3402).
- Have project management experience.
- Have a full driving license and own car, with flexibility to travel locally and potentially wider if required.
