Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Health Informatics Faculty member to join our team at the Commonwealth of Virginia. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for teaching courses in Health Informatics, advising and mentoring students, and engaging in scholarly activities, professional development, and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach courses in Health Informatics in an online environment
  • Advise and mentor students in the Master of Health Informatics program
  • Engage in scholarly activities, professional development, and service
Requirements
  • Ph.D. or doctorate in Health Informatics or a related field
  • Evidence of scholarly activity, professional development, and service
  • Experience working in the healthcare field
Preferred Qualifications
  • Online Instructor Certification and/or Quality Matters Certification
  • Experience in the use of learning management systems and resources to assist in the delivery of online course content
