Main Duties- High-profile, accessible, and responsive leadership with clinical, staff, and service responsibility for delivering Oxfordshire's Lung Cancer Screening Programme.
- Responsible for the day-to-day management of TLHC service, including the assessment process, service improvement initiatives, implementation, and evaluation of local and national programme standards and service protocols.
- Facilitate innovative and evidence-based nursing practice through professional leadership and direction of the clinical team. Act as a credible and professional role model and encourage and empower other staff to develop both personally and professionally and achieve their maximum potential.
- Able to make informed decisions within their own area and scope of professional practice, involving patients and public to ensure agreed standards, objectives, and targets are met. The leader should be able to provide exceptional treatment and care to patients throughout their screening process.
- Deliver a pivotal role within the multidisciplinary team meetings, facilitating a collaborative approach to patient care.
- May act as the Responsible Assessor for the TLHC service with responsibility for ensuring the service is delivered in accordance with national protocols and quality standards (PR and PR).
