Nursing Leadership Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled nurse to join our team as a Specialist Ward Coordinator at Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust. In this dynamic role, you will play a critical part in delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring seamless coordination of ward services.

Job Description:

  • Coordinate and manage the inpatient nursing team, ensuring timely interventions and resolving issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to implement Trust policies and guidelines, promoting excellence in patient care.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, enhancing communication and cooperation to achieve shared goals.

Key Accountabilities:

  1. Co-lead the nursing team, working closely with colleagues to resolve complex patient issues and optimize service delivery.
  2. Monitor and address any staffing concerns, proactively engaging in problem-solving and ensuring staff well-being.
  3. Liaise with other departments and teams to identify opportunities for improvement, streamlining services and enhancing overall efficiency.
