About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Advisor to join our team at Sweet Projects. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a vital role in managing employee relations and performance management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage employee relations and performance management, ensuring policies are consistent and HR queries are dealt with promptly and reliably.
  • Line management responsibility for the People and Performance Assistant, ensuring their skills and capabilities are developed.
  • Work in partnership with all ER related instances, developing and implementing HR strategies to support business objectives.
  • Review and update job descriptions, advising managers on recruitment and selection strategies.
  • Train hiring managers on candidate interview evaluation techniques, assisting with and developing recruitment campaigns.
  • Coordinate the appointment process for successful applicants, monitoring key recruitment metrics.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions of employment with staff, providing advice and playing a major role in work reviews and change processes.
  • Ensure compliance with record-keeping requirements, providing a reliable source of information for HR processes.
  • Identify development needs, managing staff relationships and responding to queries or problems.
  • Research and recommend performance evaluation methods, monitoring and reviewing HR policies to ensure they are in line with current legislation.
  • Support the People and Performance Manager with various capability investigations, driving business performance in relation to the organisation's objectives.
  • Act as the point of contact for hiring managers, employees, and other P&P team members.
Requirements
  • CIPD Level 5 as a minimum (or equivalent HR qualification).
  • Organisational and administrative skills, ability to advise and work with senior members of staff.
  • Personable with strong communication and relationship building capabilities across all levels of the business.
  • Driven and determined, practical and logical, able to solve problems quickly.
