Job Title: Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Teaching Assistant to join our team on a temporary basis. Based in Grantham, this role will involve working closely with classroom teachers to provide essential support to students across various age groups and abilities.

Position Overview: As a Teaching Assistant, your primary responsibility will be to assist with classroom activities, including preparing materials and resources, and providing one-on-one support to students. You will also be responsible for supporting students with special educational needs (SEN) by implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and accommodations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assisting classroom teachers in delivering lessons and maintaining a positive learning environment.
  • Providing one-on-one support to students, including those with SEN, to help them access the curriculum.
  • Preparing materials and resources for classroom activities.

Requirements:
Qualifications and Skills:
  1. A relevant qualification in education or childcare is desirable but not essential.
  2. Previous experience working as a teaching assistant or in a similar support role is preferred but not essential.
