Care Team Leader

CareTech Group is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Team Leader to join our Supported Living team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of care for our service users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the day-to-day delivery of care, ensuring service user needs are met and manage the service in the absence of the Manager.
  • Be responsible for the care, welfare, and safety of service users and the health and safety of staff.
  • Coordinate the service and participate in reviews, reassessing person-centred support plans to ensure they are up-to-date and in line with individual needs.
  • Undertake regular supervisions with staff and act as a skills coach for staff, chairing regular team meetings.
  • Participate in the recruitment of staff within an equal opportunities framework.

Requirements:

  • 12 months' experience in a caring environment.
  • Health and Social Care Level 3 Qualification.
  • Good communication skills, allowing you to engage and interact with our service users.
  • Ability to keep calm under pressure.
  • Confidence to work alone and as part of a team.
  • Passionate about making a difference to someone's life.
  • Good written skills.
