About the Role

This exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented and motivated Senior Staff Nurse to join our Unplanned Care Team as an A&E Senior Staff Nurse. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and supporting patients in their homes.

You will be responsible for leading and managing the team, providing guidance and support to junior staff members, and developing and implementing plans to improve patient outcomes and services. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to achieve shared goals and objectives.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Current NMC registration
  • Teaching/Assessor in clinical practice
  • V100/V300 prescribing for nursing or equivalent
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to delegate work and develop staff
  • Previous experience of community healthcare (District Nursing)
  • Understanding and/or experience of managing patients with long-term conditions
  • Knowledge of diabetes management, wound care, and leg ulcer management
