About the Role

We are seeking a talented Graduate Electronics Engineer to join our R&D team at Avire. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing emergency communication products that make a real difference in people's lives.

Working closely with our international team, you will be involved in the entire product lifecycle, from design and development to production and market launch. Your work will be critical to ensuring the safety and well-being of building occupants, particularly those with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop products across the entire electronics lifecycle, including hardware and firmware.
  • Write embedded firmware in C for various microcontrollers, including Raspberry Pi, STM32, and PIC.
  • Explore new hardware platforms and software languages for future applications.
  • Develop automated test scripts and interface with hardware using C# and Python.
  • Support the creation of a strong pipeline of ideas that solve real customer problems and pain points.
  • Work with the supply chain to ensure components meet requirements.
  • Ensure products are designed for manufacture and collaborate with production teams.
  • Support investigation of non-conformances and quality issues.
  • Manage and coordinate engineering change and maintain a detailed design record.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum 2:1 degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
