Senior Health Care Support Worker

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Health Care Support Worker to join our Intensive Support Team (IST) in Kirklees. The successful candidate will work closely with a small number of service users, providing intensive assessment, formulation, and intervention within a Positive Behavioral Support Model.
Main Duties- Provide high-quality care and support to service users, promoting their recovery and rehabilitation potential.
- Develop and maintain meaningful therapeutic relationships with service users, adopting a polite, positive, and empathetic approach.
- Assess situations, identify potential problems, and take appropriate action to ensure service user safety.
- Contribute to the care planning process, understanding the principles underlying care planning and implementing care within established policies and procedures.
- Participate in a flexible rostering arrangement, providing 24-hour/7 day care as required.
- GCSE A-D or grade 3-9 in Maths and English or equivalent.
- Apprenticeship level 3 or equivalent, or level 2 qualification with the ability to demonstrate competencies at level 3.
- Care Certificate or required to achieve within 12 weeks of commencement.
- Ability to work effectively, professionally, and independently or as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good administration and organisational skills.
