About the RoleThe successful candidate will provide one-on-one support to pupils with learning difficulties, assisting teachers in creating a nurturing learning environment and helping pupils to overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities- Support students with their educational and social development
- Assist teachers in creating a supportive learning environment
- Help pupils to overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential
- A kind, patient, and empathetic manner
- Experience working with young people, ideally in an educational setting
- Experience supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Passion for education and dedication to helping students achieve their full potential
- Reliability, enthusiasm, and a strong work ethic
Desirable qualifications include a degree relevant to the role or a teaching assistant qualification. Previous UK experience working with children with SEN is essential.
This is a full-time role during term time, Monday to Friday, under the supervision of the class teacher.
