Job Description

As an Investigation Officer within the Strategic Exports and Sanctions Enforcement Team, you will play a key role in enforcing export licenses for military, dual-use goods, and counter proliferation activities. You will work closely with a team of experts to detect breaches of UK export controls and take enforcement action to promote compliance within the UK exporter community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct investigations into potential breaches of UK export controls and sanctions regulations.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to gather evidence and build cases against individuals or organizations suspected of non-compliance.
  • Develop and implement strategies to prevent and detect financial crimes related to export controls and sanctions.
  • Work with law enforcement agencies and other stakeholders to share intelligence and best practices.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to colleagues on export control and sanctions regulations.
