We are seeking an experienced Energy Resource Optimisation Expert to join our Petroleum Engineering team in Norwich. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in reviewing wells and fields to maximise production from matured assets.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Production monitoring, surveillance and database management.
- Identifying bottlenecks and proposing solutions to improve well performance.
- Developing workover/well interventions proposals, including candidate screening and ranking, scope of work definition and production/economics calculations.
- Preparing data acquisition programs, such as pressure surveys and cased hole logging.
In addition, you will support Reservoir Engineers for Field Development Studies and challenge existing designs and well operational processes to propose optimisations.
As an Energy Resource Optimisation Expert, you will also be required to competently operate Safety Critical Tasks and visit offshore platforms when necessary.
RequirementsTo succeed in this role, you will need:
- A degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related field (MSc or BSc) with at least 3-5 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
- Strong knowledge of IPM software, well testing software and Microsoft Suite.
- Ability to travel offshore when required.
We offer a competitive salary, ranging from £60,000 to £80,000 per annum, depending on your qualifications and experience. In addition, we provide a range of benefits, including:
- Discretionary Bonus (£8,000 - £12,000 per year)
- Private Medical Insurance (£500 - £1,000 per year)
- Flexible Benefit Allowance (£2,000 - £4,000 per year)
- Life Assurance (£10,000 - £20,000)
- Excellent Pension Provision (5% - 10% employer contribution)
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays
- Flex Days (up to 10 days per year)
- Profit ‘Unit’ Sharing Scheme (up to 10% of annual salary)
