About the Role

We're seeking a seasoned professional to lead the design and development of our user-facing web properties, including our website, resources & tools, blog, changelog, documentation, and more.

As a Senior Web Experience Designer, you will have the opportunity to design, concept, prototype, and build new experiences for our web presence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Primarily focus on our web presence, blog, and documentation to create a world-class experience that tells the Sequence story.
  • Craft every detail of new web projects, from initial idea to delivery, pioneering new forms of content to better tell Sequence's story.
  • Work closely with our product and growth teams on new product and content releases.
  • Take Sequence's brand design and visual identity to the next level, working closely with our product designers.
  • Help our small team have outsized impact, shaping our product, culture, and ways of working.

Requirements

  • Have a zeal for the web as a storytelling medium, demonstrable through a portfolio of design work and frontend code.
  • Have experience designing and building public-facing websites that work elegantly across commonly used browsers and devices.
  • Enjoy being hands-on with a solid blend of design and writing code.
  • Want to work as part of a small, multi-disciplinary team and collaborate closely with others.
  • Want to work on something new, enjoying the uncertainty and unpredictability that comes with an early-stage company.
