Job Title: Tax Semi Senior

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Tax Semi Senior to join our team at Public Practice Recruitment Ltd. As a Tax Semi Senior, you will play a key role in supporting our clients with their tax needs, providing expert advice and guidance to ensure compliance with tax regulations.

About the Role:
  • Support a varied portfolio of tax clients, championing service excellence and building strong relationships with clients.
  • Work closely with management to prepare and submit tax returns, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Assist with updating internal CRMS and client portals, maintaining up-to-date records and information.
  • Keep up-to-date with technical research to support complex tax issues, staying ahead of changes in tax laws and regulations.
  • Champion your own professional development, seeking opportunities for growth and learning within the firm.
  • Support the wider team with ad hoc duties as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt.

Requirements:
  • ATT qualification is desired but not essential - study support can be considered for the right candidate
  • 5 GCSEs including Maths and English
  • A minimum of two years' tax experience, preferably gained in practice
  • Technically minded with an aptitude for research
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • A keen eye for detail and strong organisational skills
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving
  • A self-motivated team player able to work closely with senior management
