Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at our Wrexham manufacturing site. As a key member of our GBU Composites Materials division, you will play a crucial role in supporting the aerospace business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate in accordance with Company HSE policies and SSoW procedures
  • Work to maintenance schedules, carrying out planned preventative maintenance on a range of process and support equipment
  • React swiftly to process breakdowns to minimise downtime
  • Ensure root cause of equipment failure is always identified and appropriate preventative action implemented
  • Accurate and consistent completion of documentation and SAP data
  • Ensure the work area is kept clean and in an orderly manner.
Requirements:
  • Time served engineering apprenticeship.
  • Minimum ONC/HNC in Engineering (ideally both mechanical and electrical).
  • COMPEX qualified (advantageous)
  • Basic Safety Related work based training
  • Strong commitment to all aspects of workplace safety
  • Knowledge of PLC's, Controls and Motor Drives, AC and DC motors, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Electrical and Mechanical Properties
