Job Title: Head of Finance and Operations

We are seeking an exceptional individual to lead our finance and operations functions, supporting the Chief Executive Officer in implementing management systems to efficiently run the business and achieve strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement robust approaches to finance and operations, providing practical support for Black Thrive teams to manage their programmes and projects.
  • Support staff to take on delegated responsibility for finance, HR, and operations, developing their skills and knowledge base.
  • Develop a Fundraising Strategy through creating comprehensive fundraising plans tailored to the organization's needs and goals.
Requirements:
  • Equivalent of a bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in financial and operations in an organization dealing with multiple and/or complex programmes and partnerships.
  • Experience in developing and implementing new systems and processes in start-up environments.
  • Experience of using online accounting software, e.g., Xero, and setting up and maintaining financial and administrative systems that are compliant with data protection and privacy laws.
What We Offer:
  • A competitive salary of £50,000 - £60,000.
  • 26 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
  • Pension contribution.
