Ambulance Care Assistant

The HATS Group is a leading provider of patient transport services, with a reputation for professionalism and service excellence. As an Ambulance Care Assistant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of patients across the UK.
Main Responsibilities:
- Ensure personal and/or vehicle readiness and availability to attend cases and urgent, special or planned patient journeys.
- Maintain regular communication with the Control team regarding updates and changes to personal and/or vehicle availability and movements.
- Conduct safe patient transport with care and compassion to patients, including assisting other clinicians when appropriate and in line with the company scope of practice policy.
- Complete and maintain full and accurate records for all patient movements, with particular emphasis on patient dignity and needs.
- Liaise with other clinicians & health professionals and communicate information to all levels both internally and externally.
Requirements:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to changing situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Basic first aid and manual handling training.
- Valid driving license and ability to drive a variety of vehicle types.
