Operations Safety Manager

The estimated salary for this position is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum.
We are seeking an experienced Health and Safety Manager to join our team at Amazon UK Services Ltd. in the Fulfilment Centre (FC) role.
This is a critical position that requires managing the health and safety function at the FC, including supervising staff to ensure delivery of objectives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing health and safety arrangements across all operations sites;
- Reviewing and auditing health and safety management arrangements continuously improving them where appropriate;
- Providing strategies to reduce health and safety risks recommending and implementing mitigations and processes;
- Supporting business change through effective change management processes;
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
A degree-level education and additional qualifications to NVQ5/NEBOSH Diploma level are required.
Relevant experience managing a team, complying with local Health and Safety legislation, and advanced proficiency in verbal and written English are essential.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Lean, 5S, and Kaizen experience, as well as environmental qualification/experience, are advantages.
