Interpersonnel UK Limited is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Volunteer for Change, providing support and guidance to young people in care. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about working with young people.

The estimated salary for this role is £12-£15 per hour, depending on experience. We offer reimbursement for all travel costs and comprehensive training to equip you for your role.

In this position, you will work with young people, providing emotional support and helping them develop coping strategies to enhance their wellbeing. You will also participate in a range of activities and outings, such as bowling or going out for food.

  • Our Befriending programme supports young people in the care system by offering a long-term, consistent, and trusted adult that they can turn to.
  • As a befriender, you will provide valuable support and a listening ear to a young person, meeting with them once a month for at least two years.
Requirements

We are looking for individuals who are patient, empathetic, and non-judgmental. If you are aged 18+ and have a passion for working with young people, we would love to hear from you.
