Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Sports League Coordinator to join our team in London. As a Sports League Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating four leagues in London, managing both off-field league administration and the practical side of running each league day/night at the venue.

About You

The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in sport, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to learn to referee Tag Rugby. They should be extremely organized, with strong admin skills, and be able to work well as part of a sociable team. A degree qualification in sport, business, or a related field is desirable.

Responsibilities
  1. Management of 4-6 leagues, including league administration & venue supervising
  2. Managing league culture & adherence to the player code of conduct
  3. Retention of existing teams & players from season to season
  4. Successful recruitment of new players & teams to your leagues to maintain & grow participation
  5. Meet deadlines for fixture releases & communications
  6. Manage, mentor, assess & feedback to referees appointed to your leagues
  7. Communicate with Venue Supervisors appointed to your league's secondary venues
  8. Manage & establish relationships with post-match pubs to ensure a healthy social scene
  9. Build & manage relationships with team organisers & key customers at your leagues
  10. Provide regular ongoing reports such as league duty reports & team retention reports
  11. Check venue conditions during times of bad weather
  12. Ensure pitches meet health & safety standards & report pitch issues
  13. Ensure all teams and players pay in full, adhering to payment deadlines
