About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Pharmacy Technician to work at North Downs Hospital as the 'Medicines Lead'. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing medicine procurement for the site and supporting the safe and effective management of stock.

Main Responsibilities

The post holder will work under the direction of the Pharmacy team at Ashtead Hospital and will be a member of the wider health care professional team at North Downs to provide patient care and support delivery of the clinical governance agenda.

Requirements

  • Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council as a Pharmacy Technician
  • Clear and confident communication skills, patient-focused, and at least 1-year post-registration hospital pharmacy experience
  • A commitment to support individuals and assist as necessary with activities of daily living
  • The ability to make decisions and use your initiative
  • Strong communication skills
  • Passion to deliver excellent care in a rewarding and challenging environment
  • A flexible and positive attitude
