Job Title: Unqualified PE Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Unqualified PE Teacher to join our team of professionals in SEMH schools in Chelmsford. As a PE Teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting the physical, emotional, and social development of our students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in planning and delivering engaging and inclusive PE lessons that cater to the diverse needs of our students.
  • Support students' physical, emotional, and social development through sports and physical activities, promoting a positive and inclusive environment.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to adapt the PE curriculum to meet the needs of all students, ensuring a tailored approach to their learning.
  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students, helping them to achieve their personal best and develop a growth mindset.
  • Encourage a culture of respect, empathy, and inclusivity, where every student feels valued and supported.
Requirements:
  • A strong passion for physical education and working with young people, with a commitment to creating a safe and supportive learning environment.
  • Experience in coaching or teaching sports, particularly in an SEMH or similar setting, with a proven track record of delivering engaging and effective lessons.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • A proactive approach to learning and professional development, with a commitment to staying up-to-date with best practices in PE teaching and coaching.
  • A strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies and procedures, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection protocols.
