Dyslexia Learning Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Dyslexia Learning Specialist to join our team at Protocol National Limited. The successful candidate will work closely with the Dyslexia Coordinator, advising staff and providing targeted support to learners across the college.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To deliver high-quality support aimed at improving achievements in academic and vocational courses for learners with dyslexia
  • To conduct dyslexia screenings and complete relevant paperwork for quality monitoring and audit purposes
  • To provide one-to-one and group tuition to learners with dyslexia, tailoring support to meet individual needs
  • To maintain accurate records of learner progress and report on half-termly basis
  • To contribute to the development of best practice in learning, teaching, and assessment

Requirements:

  • A recognised teaching qualification and English and maths level 2
  • Experience delivering support to learners with dyslexia and a strong understanding of dyslexia principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work collaboratively within a team

The ideal candidate will have a passion for supporting learners with dyslexia and a commitment to safeguarding and promoting their welfare. We offer a competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including enhanced DBS check and opportunities for professional growth.
