Special Needs Education Support Worker

Dunbar Education is currently seeking a skilled SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team. This role requires an individual who has experience working with children with special educational needs and can provide effective support to enhance their learning experience.
Main Responsibilities:- To assist in the planning and delivery of lessons, ensuring that pupils receive a tailored education that meets their individual needs.
- Providing individualized support to pupils with SEMH and challenging behaviour, and implementing strategies to promote positive relationships and reduce stress.
- Contributing to the development of a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters social, emotional, and academic growth.
- Minimum 1 year of experience working with children in a school setting, preferably with those who have special educational needs.
- Knowledge of SEN/SEMH or behaviour management techniques.
- A genuine enthusiasm for working with children and making a positive impact on their education and wellbeing.
- An immediate start is available for the right candidate.
- The hourly rate for this SEN Teaching Assistant role is £18.55-£22.36 per hour.
