About the Role

Amazon UK Fresh is seeking a seasoned leader to join our team as a Senior Category Manager. This role offers a unique opportunity to drive business growth, improve customer experience, and develop strategic partnerships with key vendors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a high-performing team of buyers and vendor managers to drive category growth and profitability.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior-level vendors, negotiating mutually beneficial agreements and driving profitable growth.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer experience, including category strategy, pricing, selection, and convenience.
  • Turn data into actionable insights, presenting findings in a clear and convincing manner to drive business decisions.
  • Identify opportunities to automate and simplify manual processes, improving productivity and efficiency.
  • Manage a full P&L, including planning, forecasting, and driving growth to meet and exceed revenue and profitability goals.
  • Set strategic direction for vendors and initiatives, ensuring alignment with broader business goals.
  • Drive business improvement, innovation, and scale within categories, generating and implementing big ideas.
  • Represent Amazon in negotiations with senior leaders, leveraging data and insights to drive results.
  • Stay up-to-date on seasonality, global trends, and competitor developments, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure flawless execution.

Requirements

  • Experience with vendor negotiations, pricing, and promotion or inventory management.
  • Ability to use data to influence business decisions.
  • Proven track record of driving internal cross-team collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree.
