About the Role
We are looking for a seasoned RF engineer to lead our client's electronics team in Edinburgh. As a Principal RF Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and delivering cutting-edge RF, PCB, and Module designs. Your expertise will drive innovation and growth within the company.

Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Developing multifunctional RF designs using the latest technologies available.
  • Managing the full hardware lifecycle, from system concept to production support.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve real-world integration problems on advanced systems.

Requirements
To excel in this role, you should have:Significant experience in RF/Microwave engineering, with a focus on design and development.Expertise in simulation tools (e.g., AWR, VSS, ADS) and EM 3D/2D simulation techniques.Strong knowledge of microwave design software (e.g., CST) and GaAs/GaN MMIC design.
What We Offer
In return for your expertise, we offer a competitive salary package, including £65 per hour (umbrella) or £48.17 per hour (PAYE basic), plus £5.98 per hour for holiday pay.
