Job Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Secondary Market Analyst to join our team at White Cube. The successful candidate will be responsible for researching, managing, and maintaining object data to support our global sales efforts and market analysis.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and experience working with data and database management.

About the Job
  • Collaborate with the Market Analyst and sales team to document and manage object data, including market and ownership histories.
  • Independently update and review artist project initiatives, ensuring adherence to schedules and system standards.
  • Gather and analyse market intelligence for potential acquisitions, consignments, and sales.
  • Track and update object and market intelligence from external sources like auction databases, art fairs, galleries and news outlets.
  • Assist in compiling data for presentations on sourcing, pricing, and sales pipelines.
About You
  • Bachelor's degree in a fine art category, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 2 years paid art world experience required, auction experience preferred.
  • Strong interest in Modern and Contemporary Art market essential.
  • Previous experience working with data and database management.
  • Excellent research and analytical skills, and attention to detail.
