Job Summary

This Senior Product Management Manager role in the Asset Data and Systems team is responsible for driving asset ecosystem improvements on existing or new digital products that streamline business processes and improve customer experience. Asset ecosystems include customer relationship management (CRM), asset data management, and customer portals. In this role, responsibilities include supporting the identification and development of product offerings for the business. This role impacts the quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the team and is guided by commercial practices and policies. High levels of commercial judgment are required to achieve desired outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives. Integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization, be involved in long-term planning, manage complex issues within functional areas of expertise, and contribute to the overall business strategy.
  • Develop specialized knowledge of the latest commercial developments in the area and communication skills to influence others. Contribute towards strategy and policy development and ensure delivery within the area of responsibility.
  • Requires strong commercial awareness and is expected to develop quantifiable business value strategies to deliver customer experience impact.
  • Interpret internal and external business challenges and recommend best practices to improve products, processes, or services. Stay informed of industry trends that may inform work.
  • Assess the quality of information given and ask pertinent questions to stakeholders or customers. Offer new solutions to problems outside of set parameters and construct recommendations.
  • Have in-depth knowledge of best practices and how the area integrates with others; possess working knowledge of competition and differentiating factors in the market.
  • Use judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems within projects, product lines, markets, sales processes, campaigns, or customers. Take new perspectives on existing solutions. Use technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations.
  • Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead small projects with moderate risks and resource requirements. Explain difficult or sensitive information; work to build consensus. Develop persuasion skills required to influence others on topics within the field.
  • May lead functional teams or projects with minimal resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity. Communicate difficult concepts and may influence others' opinions on particular topics. Guide others to consider different points of view.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and 5+ years of strong product management experience (or a minimum high school diploma/GED with an additional 4+ years of strong product management experience).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience with product lifecycle management.
  • Airline & Aviation operations knowledge and airline/engine/aircraft data experience is beneficial.
  • Established project management skills. Previous experience working in a project management office. Demonstrated ability to lead programs/projects.
  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
  • Established financial acumen.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong collaboration and organization skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
