About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and empathetic Serious Injury Paralegal to join our team in Bristol and Cardiff offices. As a key member of our specialist serious injury team, you will play a vital role in supporting our solicitors in handling complex cases involving serious injuries, such as brain and spinal cord injuries, amputations, and multiple trauma.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support case handlers in the running of cases by undertaking basic case work under supervision, including taking instructions from clients, obtaining and reviewing evidence, and assisting with litigation processes.
  • Contribute to the administrative elements of case progression, ensuring timely and efficient management of cases.
  • Meet time recording and fee income targets to ensure profitable working.
  • Attend and contribute to team and practice area meetings, engaging with colleagues to achieve team objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in relevant law and practice, attending training events to maintain current legal knowledge and best practice.
  • Participate in business development activities, as required.
Requirements
  • Empathy and compassion to guide clients through challenging personal circumstances.
  • A friendly, enthusiastic, and can-do approach, with flexibility to work across two office locations (Bristol and Cardiff) and remotely.
  • Enthusiasm for building a career as a Paralegal, with or without prior experience.
