Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our clinical team. As a key member of the team, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and contribute to the delivery of high-quality healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities
The Advanced Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for providing first-point-of-contact care to patients presenting with a variety of clinical problems. This will involve conducting physical assessments, developing treatment plans, and prescribing medications as necessary.
Additionally, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to enhance their knowledge of chronic disease management, undertake domiciliary visits, and conduct disease prevention assessments.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, candidates will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Registration with the NMC as a Level 1 nurse
- Evidence of ongoing learning and professional development
- Degree or MSc in Advanced Practice or credentialing through recognised courses by the NMC
- Physical assessment and clinical reasoning skills
- Non-medical prescribing qualification
Salary and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary package, including flexible working hours and opportunities for job sharing. The salary for this role is dependent on experience, but we estimate it to be around £60,000 - £80,000 per annum. In addition to a competitive salary, you will also receive regular training and development opportunities to support your career progression.
