About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Psychology Practitioner to join our team at Dorset Clinical Commissioning Group. As a key member of our mental health services, you will be responsible for providing high-quality psychological therapy to clients with a range of mental health issues.

Main Responsibilities

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Providing evidence-based psychological therapies to clients with complex mental health needs
  • Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans
  • Conducting clinical audits and evaluations to inform service development and improvement
  • Participating in ongoing professional development and training to maintain expertise and stay up-to-date with best practices

Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • A recorded/registered doctoral level qualification in clinical psychology or a related field
  • Significant experience working as a psychological therapy practitioner, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality services
  • Accreditation with a relevant professional body, such as the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) or the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP)

Desirable Criteria

While not essential, we would welcome applications from candidates with experience of working in primary care services, completing clinical audits, and working with diverse communities.
