Home Treatment Team Practitioner Psychologist

We are seeking an experienced Practitioner Psychologist to join our Home Treatment Teams as a key member of our multidisciplinary team. As a Practitioner Psychologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality psychological services to individuals experiencing mental health crises.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide individual and group psychological interventions to patients with complex mental health needs.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and treatment options.
  • Engage in clinical supervision and peer review to ensure high-quality care.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements
  • Postgraduate doctoral level training in Clinical or Counselling Psychology.
  • Experience working with individuals with severe and complex mental health problems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Eligibility for membership of the British Psychological Society (BPS) and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
