About Our Organisation

The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King's Lynn is a comprehensive acute hospital providing a range of specialist, acute, obstetrics, and community-based healthcare services to a population of around 331,000 people across west and north Norfolk, parts of Breckland, Cambridgeshire, and South Lincolnshire.

We have a diverse workforce of over 4,000 staff and volunteers, with approximately 530 beds and a helipad for air ambulances. We work closely with neighbouring hospitals to provide tertiary services, including as part of regional partnership and network models of care.

In February 2022, the Trust was rated 'Good' in all core services by the Care Quality Commission, recommending that we move out of the recovery support system.
