Defence Energetics Compliance Lead

This exciting opportunity has arisen within our team responsible for managing ordnance, munitions, and explosives (OME). As a Senior Explosives Management Specialist, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the safe and secure lifecycle management of OME.
ResponsibilitiesYou will be responsible for:
- Ensuring compliance with safety, security, and regulatory standards throughout the lifecycle of OME.
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, including Defence Munitions and regulatory bodies, to capture requirements and support procurement cycles.
- Acting as the focal point for Common Acquisition Support Plan (CASP) management, aligning with Defence procurement cycles.
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- Proven expertise in through-life management of OME, with a track record in safety and procedural compliance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools for documentation and reporting.
- A valid UK driving licence (manual).
