We seek an enthusiastic and experienced SEN Teacher to join our team. This opportunity is ideal for someone passionate about making a difference in the lives of Key Stage 5 (KS5) students with various learning difficulties and disabilities.

The Role:

As an SEN Teacher for KS5, you will deliver tailored lessons to students with diverse needs, working closely with educators, therapists, and support staff to create individualised learning plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Create and implement high-quality, differentiated lessons for KS5 students with SEN needs.">
  • Support students' academic, social, and emotional development.">
  • Collaborate with teaching assistants and staff to create an inclusive learning environment.">
  • Develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs) tailored to students' needs.">
  • Maintain accurate records of students' progress and provide regular feedback.">
  • Foster positive relationships with students, promoting independence and self-esteem.">
  • Communicate regularly with parents and carers regarding student progress.">
  • Pursue ongoing professional development to enhance teaching practices.">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • Holding Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with experience teaching in an SEN setting.">
  • Experience working with KS5 students having SEN, including autism, learning difficulties, and emotional/behavioural needs.">
  • A passion for inclusive education and commitment to supporting all students' success.">
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with students, staff, and parents.">
  • Creative and adaptable approach to teaching and learning, capable of adjusting to individual student needs.">
  • A positive attitude, willingness to go above and beyond for students, and flexibility in a dynamic work environment.">
