Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team at VANRATH. As a key member of the finance department, you will play a crucial role in providing financial insights and reporting to support our site's strategy.

About You:
We are looking for a strong analytical and numerical individual with extensive knowledge of management accounting, preferably within FMCG. Part-qualified CIMA, ACCA or Accounting Technician is a must. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially advanced Excel skills, is essential. Results-driven individuals with excellent communication and influencing abilities will thrive in this role.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly journals and provide performance insights
- Conduct Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Deliver accurate Cost of Sales reports and variance analyses
- Generate weekly Yield and Product Price Variance reports with insights
- Reconcile reports to the General Ledger
- Support annual budgets, forecasts, and year-end accounts
- Assist with the implementation of accountancy packages
- Lead site projects to drive continuous improvement and meet objectives
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and internal procedures
- Maintain strong internal controls to mitigate risks
