Job Title: Financial Management Specialist

Description:

We are working with a leading organisation based in Enniskillen to recruit for a Financial Management Specialist to be part of their finance team. This is for a period of 12 months with possible extension. The successful candidate will work within a hybrid working model, with hours from 9am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday.

The Financial Management Specialist will support the strategic financial management of the company, preparing management accounts and assisting with annual financial statements. Key responsibilities include:

  • Producing management reports and variance analysis, and maintaining budget control.
  • Working alongside management to prepare budgets.
  • Assisting in the planning and preparation of draft annual accounts, preparing supporting papers as required.
  • Supporting the administration and management of claims.
  • Ensuring financial policies and procedures are kept up to date where necessary.
  • Providing reports, returns, and financial information as required.
  • Enhancing current systems and implementing new systems as required, providing training, establishing KPIs, updating procedures, and policies to achieve efficiencies and improved business practices.

This role requires a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, ICAI) with at least two years' experience in a similar role or a part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, ICAI) with at least three years' experience in a similar role. Additionally, the successful candidate must hold a current driving licence, possess access to a form of transport, and be proficient in the use of IT, including Microsoft packages such as Excel, Word, etc.
