About the Role:

Zest is seeking a highly skilled HSEQ Advisor to join our team. As an HSEQ Advisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental well-being of our employees, clients, and contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective HSEQ policies, procedures, and processes to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and industry standards.
  • Conduct regular audits and site visits to monitor HSEQ performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on HSEQ matters, including risk assessment, incident investigation, and emergency response.
  • Collaborate with operational teams to develop and implement HSEQ strategies and initiatives.
  • Monitor and report on HSEQ performance metrics, including incident rates, near misses, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • NEBOSH General/Construction Certificate or equivalent.
  • 2 years health and safety, environmental, and/or quality experience in a similar industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
