About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Registered Nurse (Child) to join our Paediatric team as a Senior Staff Nurse. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high standards of holistic care to our patients and supporting the development of new staff.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional care to patients and their families, ensuring a positive experience throughout their stay.
- Support the development of new staff, including assessing and supervising student nurses and preceptor newly qualified nurses.
- Act as the designated deputy for the Sister/Charge nurse and operational manager in their absence.
- Contribute to the assessment and development of new policies and procedures to improve patient care.

Requirements
- RSCN/RN Child Branch, with evidence of regular professional updating.
- Minimum 2 years post-registration acute paediatric experience.
- Leadership and mentorship skills.
- IV competent.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
