Job Description

Job Title: Senior Manager - Corporate Tax

Location: Manchester City Centre

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 per annum

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager to join our Corporate Tax team in Manchester. As a Senior Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of tax professionals and providing expert advice to clients on corporate tax matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and approve corporation tax computations and tax accounting
  • Undertake tax assurance reviews and provide expert advice to clients
  • Negotiate and raise timetables and fees
  • Manage WIP on a portfolio of clients
  • Be an active member of the national Tax Team and ensure national procedures are rolled out and adopted in Manchester

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience of working with a portfolio of clients to deliver on annual Tax compliance and reporting requirements
  • Willingness to take on leadership roles within Manchester and across the wider Tax team
  • Responsible for assisting the development of more junior staff through coaching
  • CTA or equivalent qualification
