Advanced Clinical Practitioner

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our team at Humber Primary Care. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care using autonomous clinical and prescribing skills.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in primary care, with experience in prescribing for minor illnesses, minor injuries, and long-term conditions. You will be expected to demonstrate safe and effective clinical decision-making, as well as expert care for patients within general practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing high standards of patient care, embedding clinical policies and guidelines within the practice.
- Supporting the development and training of advanced clinical practice within primary care.
- Collaborating with the Primary Care Matron to standardise policies and patient care.

Person SpecificationWe are looking for a candidate with:
- Current professional registration (HPC or NMC)
- Independent Non-Medical Prescribing qualification
- Educated to Degree level
- Qualified or working towards a MSc in a relevant area
- Qualification in Minor Illness/Minor Injuries
- Advanced understanding of relevant clinical practice, standards, and protocols within identified clinical areas
Desirable qualifications include a teaching qualification, Minor Illness/Injury, Leadership qualification, and Paediatric Minor Illness/Ailments.
