Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a Staff Nurse in our Neuro Rehabilitation unit. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our residents, working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the delivery of safe, effective, and responsive care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Co-ordinate personal care and nursing care to our residents in line with our core values and policies.
  • Ensure care is delivered in a safe, caring, effective, and responsive manner, and play a part in creating an environment where excellence can flourish.
  • Work within our operating framework, ensuring all policies and procedures are followed at all times.
  • Administer prescribed medication to residents in line with instructions and policies.
  • Monitor the health needs of residents, escalating as necessary to ensure appropriate care.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve the responsibilities of the post.
  • Carry out reasonable instructions of senior nurses or management staff to ensure optimal use of resources.
  • Attend rostered shifts and follow HR policies and procedures in the event of absence.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse (RN1) with active NMC registration.
  • Understanding of NMC Code of Professional Conduct.
  • Proficiency in dispensing and administering oral medication.
  • Ability to manage and prioritise conflicting workloads.
  • Interest in developing knowledge of the clinical speciality and own practice.
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing situations and work effectively under pressure.
  • Able to manage patients' emotional needs and demonstrate empathy and caring.
  • Ability to solve and escalate problems and communicate effectively.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other staff members.
  • Drive and determination to achieve objectives.
  • Focused on continual personal development.
  • Enthusiasm for and belief in patient healthcare.
