Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Associate Director of Procurement in planning, organizing, and managing all Supply Chain operational requirements for inventory management across all Theatres, Wards, and Departments.
- Implement and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure supply chain performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement an Inventory Management Strategy, leading to the development of standards, standard operating procedures, and processes.
- Develop and report against a suite of KPIs, measuring existing supply chain performance and implementing remedies for areas falling short of established targets.
- Undertake a strategic review of current work practices, leading to the development of a supply chain strategy optimized to deliver increased efficiencies and cost savings.
- Ensure the inventory management system supports the provision of data required to feed the Trust-wide Patient Level Costing System (PLICs) system.
- Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures for new and existing inventory management and stock control processes/system developments.
Requirements:
- Proven management experience and professional lead with a track record of developing and implementing inventory management strategies.
- Ability to analyze performance data and implement remedies to improve supply chain efficiency.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with key stakeholders to deliver improved supply chain management.
