Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join our team at a unique setting near Ringwood, Hampshire. This setting provides a safe and nurturing environment where children can grow and develop physically and emotionally, preparing them for school and future stages of development.

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a key role in supporting the design and delivery of room activities in line with EYFS principles. You will be part of a highly trained team that encourages children to engage in imaginative play and real-world experiences to foster their growth and development.

The setting offers a wealth of resources, including a computer suite to introduce children to the digital world, as well as opportunities for baking with the in-house chef and a 'grow your own' initiative in the garden. This provides children with hands-on experiences and a sense of accomplishment.

Responsibilities
  • Build strong partnerships with parents and carers through thorough handovers and encourage their participation in the nursery
  • Provide stimulating experiences for children that cater to their age and developmental stage, creating a nurturing environment
  • Understand and implement the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS
  • Regularly review and follow children's care plans for any medical needs or dietary requirements
  • Embrace a culture of continuous improvement through ongoing learning and upskilling
Requirements
  • Hold a full and relevant Level 3 childcare qualification
  • Have experience working within Early Years and knowledge of the framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements
  • Ideally have experience or training in a Forest School environment
  • Disclosure and Barring Service Certificate will be required
