Design Manager

We are seeking an experienced Design Manager to join our team in Reading, working with a Tier 1 contractor on a range of projects across the M4 Corridor and Oxford.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in design management, with experience of working on schemes above £10 million and a proven track record of delivering high-quality designs on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the design process from tender to completion, working closely with the estimating and commercial teams to ensure accurate and detailed designs.
- Manage the information flow between clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
- Take responsibility for the management and implementation of designs on site, working closely with project managers and site delivery teams.
- Manage RFI's, change processes, CDM regulations, and other aspects of the design process to ensure successful project delivery.
We are looking for an experienced Design Manager with a strong background in design management, excellent work practices, attention to detail, and organisational skills. The ideal candidate will have experience of working on D&B projects and framework negotiations, and be able to demonstrate a proven track record of delivering high-quality designs on time and within budget.
