We are seeking a highly skilled Design Manager to join our team on the Oxford Pandemics project.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all design information is reviewed and delivered in line with our design management procedures for completeness and compliance with contractual obligations.

The Design Manager will oversee the production, control, and distribution of design information at different project stages and ensure regular progress reporting of the design is in place.

The role will involve supporting our consultant teams to maximise their effectiveness and value optimisation in the provision of effective integrated design solutions that meet our clients' business needs.

The ideal candidate will have a first degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with approximately 5 years' experience in managing design from concept to handover.

The successful candidate will be a senior member of our Design Job Family and Technical Function, ensuring technical excellence, assurance, and performance across all projects and opportunities.

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Design Manager to join our team and contribute to the success of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting consultant teams to maximise their effectiveness and value optimisation
  • Reviewing design delivery to enhance quality of solutions and efficiency of design
  • Managing consultancies and information and change control
  • Capturing business knowledge and capability enabling continuous improvement and innovation
Requirements:
  • First degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
