About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Recovery Worker to join our team at Rethink Mental Illness. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals affected by mental illness to regain their confidence and independence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one-to-one support to service users, helping them to set and achieve personal goals
  • Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver a comprehensive support package
  • Develop and maintain relationships with service users, their families, and carers
  • Contribute to the development of individualized support plans
  • Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the development of the service

Requirements
  • Experience of working with individuals affected by mental illness
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of mental health issues and recovery principles
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection policies
