We are currently seeking an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team and provide numeracy support to students at a secondary school in Exeter.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic HLTA who has a passion for working with students and supporting their academic development. The successful candidate will have experience working with students with special educational needs (SEN), including Autism, ADHD, and severe learning difficulties.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver numeracy interventions on a one-to-one basis and within small groups
  • Build strong relationships with students and support their emotional and social well-being
  • Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement individualized learning plans
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 6 months' experience working with children in a secondary school setting
  • Experience working with students with SEN, including Autism, ADHD, and severe learning difficulties
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this role is £90-£100 per day, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, you will also receive:
